These Math Quick Checks are Common Core aligned. They are exactly what you need to quickly check for understanding or assess student learning . They can be used as assessments, homework, or to help reteach a skill in case your student has gaps.

Here's how to use the links on this page:

  1. When you click on the name of the skill, you'll be taken the math session where we covered the skill in detail. There are often multiple sessions, so we linked to just the first one.
  2. Click on the common core number (like "4.OA.1") to download a worksheet that covers this specific concept. Use this to quickly check the student's understanding of the concept.
  3. If you need a quick refresher on a math skill, click on the math concept video links. These demonstrate the main ideas in under 60 seconds. They are not meant to be used a main lesson, they are only a reminder of what the concept is about.

Please note that this math program is not aligned with common core, however this program far exceeds all common core standards (outlined below). We cover much more math than is listed below (which are all common core standards for grades 4th - 8th). For example, we do practical applications and word problems in every single session, whereas it's only listed in a few places for each grade. Also, you will find we do not cover common core standards in the order listed below, instead the program is laid out in a different sequence and it more than covered everything you see on this page.
